Service Reception / Administration  - Turnbull Toyota Sale

We currently have a vacancy at our Sale Dealership for a Service Receptionist & Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.

This is a full time position working 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, overtime as required, with occasional Saturday morning work.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

The main responsibility is to provide first class customer service for anyone visiting the Dealership.

Attending to our customers who are having their car serviced or repaired by our skilled technicians.

Skills and Experience:

  • Well presented.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and professional verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry.

  • Computer literate together with good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Current and valid driver’s license and the ability to drive manual transmission.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • A friendly and professional manner.

Do you have mechanical skills and knowledge?

We are seeking an Accessory Fitter to fit genuine and after-market accessories, including bullbars, tow bars, winches, trays etc.

No trade qualification is required for this position.

Full time position available with immediate start, in a great team environment with attractive remuneration.

Reports To: Service Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can fit genuine and after-market accessories, including but not limited to those listed, to new and used vehicles:

  • Air conditioning
  • Steel and alloy bullbars
  • Tow bars and wiring kits
  • Winches
  • Wheels and tyres
  • Snorkels
  • Cruise control units
  • Satellite navigation systems
  • Reversing cameras
  • Steel and alloy trays, including wiring and lights
  • Driving lights
  • Seat covers, floor mats
  • Headlight and bonnet covers
  • Sun visors, window visors
  • UHF radios
  • Mine bars
  • Long-range tanks
  • Electric trailer brakes
  • Dual battery systems
  • Suspension upgrades

Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties to industry standards and adhere to Occupational Health & Safety standards as stipulated by Turnbull Toyota.
  • Prioritise work with the Service Manager to meet delivery times.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and immense pride in their work.
  • Must be of neat personal appearance, which includes wearing company uniform and safety boots.
  • Where required, must invest in the appropriate hand and air tools needed to undertake duties.
  • Manual Drivers licence.

New / Used Car Sales Consultant  - Turnbull Toyota Sale

We currently have a vacancy at our Sale Dealership for a New / Used Car Sales Consultant to join our friendly team.

Reports To: New / Used Car Sales Manager & General Sales Manager

Purpose / Main Area of Responsibilities:

We are looking to expand our experienced team of New / Used Car Sales Consultants at our Sale Dealership.

The main focus of the New / Used Car Sales Consultant is to be the face of the Company and working with guests, while ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

Key Job Functions & Accountabilities:

The New / Used Car Sales Consultant carries out a range of duties related to the selling of new and used vehicles, including:

  • Maintaining a high knowledge level about Toyota vehicles and products.
  • Ability to understand cost benefits reasoning analysis among product range and communicate to clients.
  • Understanding the guests objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes.
  • Forming long term business partnerships with guests in order to leverage future transactions / purchases.
  • Identifying and exceeding the needs of guests by providing in-depth advice and service.
  • Assisting in the selection and purchase process of a new / used vehicle.
  • Identifying and gaining new business through a sustained program of guest contact, mailing, following up referrals / leads and keeping abreast of competitors strategies.
  • Conducting product demonstrations (as needed) and co-ordinating the preparation of product delivery ensuring specific deal agreements (extras / options) are completed.
  • Demonstrating behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way.

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience in a sales role with a proven sales record (previous automotive sales experience is not essential).

  • Current and valid driver's license and the ability to drive manual transmission.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with guests resulting in sales.
  • Ambition to succeed.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Well-developed guest service skills.
  • Ability to profile guest needs.
  • Ability to self-manage performance, through taking Initiative, results orientation, decisiveness and thoroughness.
  • Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent telephone technique.
