Toyota has announced a raft of upgrades across its passenger car and small SUV range, with the Corolla hatch and sedan, Yaris, Yaris Cross, C-HR, GR Supra and Camry set to receive a range of enhancements, to be rolled out over the second half of 2022.

Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations Sean Hanley said the raft of updates across a number of models, were evidence of Toyota's ongoing commitment to continuously improving the line-up.

"Toyota will continue to keep our customers informed on key changes to our significant line-up and we encourage our customers to speak with their preferred Toyota Dealer about these enhancements," he said.

Corolla models will receive the greatest range of improvements with Hybrid Electric versions of the Corolla hatch and sedan gaining a performance upgrade, with an 8kW boost that brings combined peak power to 98kW.

Safety and security will be enhanced with the adoption of Toyota Connected Services1, enabled through an in-built data communication module (DCM) that offers advanced safety features including automatic collision notification2, SOS emergency call3 and stolen vehicle tracking4.

Corolla hatch and sedan also gain the latest version of Toyota's multimedia system, including additional USB-C connectivity. Corolla will also feature a number of updated safety and convenience features, and exterior styling tweaks including fresh alloy wheel designs and an updated colour palette5.

For Yaris Cross, the updates will offer improved technology and a refreshed style with enhancements to interior trim including black leather-accented upholstery on Urban variants.

GR Supra will also receive a new design of alloy wheel and a newly offered manual transmission version.

Yaris Cross, Yaris hatch, C-HR and Camry will all be available with an updated exterior colour range that introduces a raft of new colours and finishes.

Further details and any price adjustments will be announced closer to each model's arrival in the second half of the year.
